The first one washed up on the shore of Nassau. The second was found floating in the Persian Gulf. The newest washed up on the beach in Villaricos, Spain. Though this one looks a little different from the others.
August 15, a creature measuring 4 meters long washed up on the Luis Siret beach in Villaricos. The creature is in the advanced stages of decomposition, making visual identification difficult. So far, some of the theories are giant fish, mutant fish, or possibly a relative of the Loch Ness monster.
Proteccion Civil de Cuevas notified its colleagues at Promar in PulpĂ:
"We're monitoring the beaches during the summer. A lady found one part
and we helped her retrieve the rest.
We have no idea what it was. It really stank, as it was in the advanced
stages of decomposition. Promar experts are trying to ascertain its
nature," explained Maria Sanches, Coordinator of Civil protection in
Cuevas.
